Artist Info: Japanese born artist, Tsuguhara Foujita (1886-1968) arrived in Paris in 1917 and first exhibited at the Galerie Cheron and later exhibited in other large European cities and New York. He became well-known for his portraits, nudes, and still lifes. Numerous works of his have been used to illustrate books and he is represented in the most important museums throughout the world, including the Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris.
