Artist Info:
Ronnie Cutrone worked with Andy Warhol from 1972-1982 as an assistant at The Factory. He later became Art Editor of "Interview Magazine". He is now best known for his paintings of America's favorite cartoon characters such as Felix the Cat and Woody Woodpecker. These characters were part of the childhood experiences of his generation in the 60's. Be it political, emotionally charged or controversial, Cutrone's art may just as easily be interpreted as energetic and good, clean fun.
